My Ghana Experience

Wow so Im literally down to just ONE MORE DAY of my volunteer experience here in Ghana. I spend the last two days just relaxing. This has been an experience of a lifetime! I think everyone should take a trip to Africa! It is absolutely incredible! Ghanaian people are just incredible people. So nice and just extremely grateful. Their hold on God is so strong that you can see it everywhere! From the cabs to the stores to the schools! I had so many people that were a bit nervous for me but I knew that for me, this would be that experience that I needed.
To start my year off serving others to me is such an incredible way to start it. I want to be able to do more and I continue to just think of more and more ways that I can do more for others. Many dont know that while yes my workshops were successful they were also challenging! I was able to take a tour to multiple cities and do it all on my own. I now I have made a decision to add another mission on top of my Show Your Success Workshop tour and that is to start up a non-profit to help more children in CHILD LABOR. Ghana will be ONE of the countries we will help. I will of course find ways to help children in my country of the United States as well. I want to be able to incorporate what it is that I do professionally and use it to impact the world!
My first task will be to write a book of an incredible being here in Ghana. His name is Emmanuel and he is a Vice Principle of the Ebenezer school which is where I am teaching! He is a saved child from the shores where children go out to try to make money for their household. They go to help the fisherman but it can become very very dangerous. They earn small money in comparison to what they could earn if they just wen to school to learn but many times they just dont understand. Emmanuel was rescued and now has a passion for helping other children. His mission has helps so many other children. I plan to work with his foundation as well as I am working on doing things with Cheerful Hearts who is the company that I was connected to by Ubelong. The things we take for granted in the US are truly cherished here. I look forward to sharing more and hopefully encouraging more visionaries to take this incredible trip to Africa to see this amazing place for themselves!
I plan on putting together a video for you all as well on Youtube so please stay tuned!
To all who donated, I plan to bring you a small piece of Africa back in the way of a token but know you will also get this incredible book FOR FREE! Oh yeah when the book is made 100% of the profits will go back to Ghana! That is about $12 to $14 per book that will go back! I also plan to come back so if you are interested be sure to stay plugged in as we will be working together to raise money to get you there!
MORE TO COME!
I am truly grateful that you have read this entire post!
